just the engine build that's going be my slowest part, the rest shouldnt take that long to be honest ,got the next ten days off , so will get all my interior in and hopefully crack on with the wiring as i want tidy that up if i can

The better flow of the K&N will lean the mix out a little but remember if you're using an HS or Hif carb the mixture is only idle adjustment, the needle governs it through the rev range :)

You can fit whatever air filter you want, even the standard one. As above, have mixture adjusted after fitting RC40 or preformance filters.

Well.. I went out for a wet drive, to test the water tightness of my mini. Sure enough, although after it's welding it's muuuuuuuuch better than before, I still have some minor (about 3 mm deep in some areas, but I say minor because it's nothing compared to before) water coming into my passenger footwell, and some into my passenger rear bin too.
