Do stub stacks that fit into the K&N filter quieten the sucking noise?

freshairmini
might do a little, seen as it smooths out turbulence caused by the hard angle of the existing opening. Prlly not by much tho!

I wouldn't have thought it was an air leak, these tend to have less of an effect the higher the engine revs. I would think either valves or head gasket, you will know after the compression test!

Check head gasket.. one of these blew on a liquid cooled motorbike I had.. caused exactly the same symtoms when load was applied until engine was well warm.

So, a bit of non-mini help. I have to dye my hair to a natural colour for job prospects. Suggestions/votes?

Foxy red, that's acceptable and it looked great before!

darky browny red, as you can tell, I haven't got a clue what I'm on about :L

Unfortunately it still isn't deemed as acceptable as I'm required to have a natural hair colour (black, brown, blonde) so I'm forcing myself to go brown today.. oh dear.

That bitter-sweet feeling of knowing your Mini has to be alone in the garage for the next 10 days.. Makes me kinda wish I'm not going around Europe on a Mustangs only tour hehe :P

HollyBaby
Ok. So nearly a grand for the interior. Excuse me while I sit down a moment. I know it's worth it but poor wallet.

I'd be quite happy to pay for his train fare back... Just don't want to commit to something I haven't seen... Maybe if it's still around in a week or so I'll get in contact :)
