Out for a drive this morning and spot a '77 Mini for sale! Very, very rare around these parts. Hmmm...how do I convince the other half that having 2 is a good thing?

Price is high and looks as though it hasn't been on the road in 5 years by the registration sticker. Needs rims and tires, as he's got some kind of golf cart 10's on there.

National Windscreens. "I've come to repair a chip on your windscreen, but I see that your windscreen is unrepairable...." No sh** sherlock!! I called my insurance to get it replaced, even spoke regarding excess and it being a heated windscreen etc. Freaking ejiots! Another reason I want Stitch on the road, simple screen to deal with!!

Evidently the bodge fairies have been round for a visit, as my wrist found out when it travelled through my scuttle panel earlier >.<

WOW. I would like to see some photos of that :(. Was it hidden filler or just really badly welded on?

No idea. We've packed it full of fibreglass for now, what can't be seen and all that... But I'd like to take the car off the road soon for a rebuild so I can put a new scuttle pannel in then.

The ballache is, I passed my test in may and havent been able to drive it yet, doubt I will until its re-built now. At least it'll be in much nicer condition...

Mini Cheddars
Installed Ubuntu 12.04 today. Had some problems with it being EXTREMELY laggy at first, but after some research all I needed to do was update my GPU driver. Nice and fast now :D
