Always remember though, quality, not quantity :).
When I did mine at AS, mine was an inch or so thick. Another lads was like a phone book (the school made him pay to post it to be marked). He got a C and I got an A.

mini has shredded the inner side of both front wheels, not only that they rub every time they are turned and just dont look like there sitting in the middle of the wheel arch... bloody 7x13's

Yup, well my uncle had an a4 of the same age and had the same problem, when my dad took it in they said 'they didnt know what it was', yeah right....
Gonna trawl the Audi forums for evidence, my dad has additional warranty, but they refuse that a 'flywheel' is a malfunction in the design >_<

there was a program on tele the other day about manufactures making you pay for manufaturing faults/common problems which haven't been resolved. You can either pay and be done or kick up a stink to the big audi people, lots of legal stuff. Good Luck.
