Previous owners have threaded speaker cables through the shell of the mini and then welded it shut mmmmm ok....

Probably as a draw rope so you can pull the wiring loom though.

There's only one set of wires for the rear speakers goes up around the drivers doors along the roof and down into the boot. Follows the seal. Really weird.

a very mixed weekend, a few brilliant nights out and a long drive in the mini, coupled with being assaulted and spending half the night in two hospitals and losing my job this morning :/
