Unfortunately I'm not going to have access to a garage until the 2nd of March. My mini's been sat under a car cover in a car park since I got it at the end of last summer.

Used a large socket which just sits nicely inside the core plug with an extension on it and hit it with a copper hammer. Did take afew hits thou. I put some gasket sealant around the edges to help seal them. I use Welseal.
