Wasn't any work Vinay. The minis just got moved to their dedicated parking spot. I'll post a pic on the sa forum. If all goes well next weekend I'll get some stuff done.

i used envelopes and a pen to stores bits and bobs as when plastic bags gets oil on it the pen disperses. the engines are not that complex as you think. its the cleaning,checking and measuring that takes up the time.

Got my beastie back after 10 months away for new engine, gearbox rewire. Now for a few hundred miles running-in...then watch out!!

Overheard a neighbour ranting that the alarm on the mini scared his dog off (walks it off a lead to run free and **** where it likes) but what the ******* fails to realise. My alarm wouldn’t being going off if someone (you can guess who) didn’t go around trying to open (deliberately left unlocked) the boot of the mini to nick tools and stuff from within, which also happens to be empty.

I don't think he'd be trying to nick stuff from the boot of the mini again in hurry, as I don't think he was expecting it to have any sort of alarm fitted.

2 miles is an easy walk. If you're doing short journeys then make sure you take it for a long drive me on the weekend and make sure you get the engine HOT.

2 miles is an easy walk, not so much when taking 2 guitars, a 2000W concert amp, a multicore and a mixing desk about with you! haha, I took it for a good run today, covered about 30 miles - such a nice day with the sun showing its self!
