New heater matrix fitted, fresh anti-freeze and a good dose of Waxoyl. All ready for winter.

I did this in the week, although I didn't pad the matrix enough, so it buzzes a bit now :(. At least I have a working heater now I've gone since december the 9th last year without using one :p

Pop it out from behind, undo the two screws securing the heater to the scuttle if necessary, disconnect the wires from the back of the switch, plus the wires back into the new switch, pop it in the hole. Screw the heather back up. Jobs a goodun.
