forums are a good tool, but otherwise a dangerous enemy to be avoided...

Ach come on guys, it's good for you. If your views are firmly held, then it can re-inforce them, if not then it can challenge them. And in the end, it's healthy to discuss / debate (sometimes argue!). You can't deny the amazing wealth of knowledge on here, and we shouldn't be flippant about how lucky we are to have access to it so easily

I've seen me post up a pressing question (sometimes in the midst of a job) and get answers in minutes. That's hard to beat. So what if you come up against difficult opinions from time to time, happens in every aspect of life. Embrace the best and ignore the rest! :-)

hell yeah, as a tool and source of awesome info, I love forums (not being specific to TMF by the way!) I just try not to get too stuck in the depths of peoples' personal opinions too much, as sometimes what you want to do might be less than perfect, but if we all did everything the same way perfectly there would be little to no variation! hehe - side note, I love you TMF, please never go! :)

Once you have a mini in your life, you'll never be the same again. Even if you stray, you'll be back!

+1 spiguy - its an incurable disease, fortunately it can be well controlled by owning at least 1 mini and frequent admitions to the nearest mini show... :D

Sounds like a plan, although considering what time it is, and how dark it is outsedie tonight, you'll probably need some extra lighting in the garage! Not enough daylight anymore.

Anyone know anything about scalextric? I'm wanting to get one but with classic minis to race, do I need a certain track for them?

Except I think for the digital track you can use any age car on the track.

Today some random guy comes speeding past me, waves me down and then (rather creepily) asks if my mini is for sale. Slightly freaked out by the whole experience.
