no problem starting.. just dont have the windows open when you set off or it will rain in the car from the roof gutter! :D - I found this the hard, and rather damp way yesterday...

We got a Puggle last year that seems to like the taste of tenners and fivers! Doesnt bother me too much as I never have any cash long enough as the kids, wife and other dogs see to that!!

Buy a black rubber gloves and no-one notices. I had a weather shield on my mini but it never did a lot. The rubber gloves trick worked wonders on it.

The fact they would not even give me a quote, yes. I've driven many fast/expensive cars for work, and I'm using vauxhall parts for the conversion, so I don't see the big deal. The engine is only rated at 115bhp, and in a reasonably big estate car, It's not going to be that quick. :(

Engine conversions are usually a specialist insurance job. Not really up to the likes of aviva, churchill etc

That I was a spoilt little brat!!! 2 old water tanks, 1 metal and 1 plastic. Most of the bmw e46 saloon cloth interior. lots of late 80's gaming magazines 'crash'. 2 of my prams, and other baby related things. Old bathroom fittings ect. Our garden now looks like the local tip. :0

I ran out in sight of a petrol station once. It was up hill and I wasn't able to push my mini up it. No one bothered to stop and help me despite causing a tail back in rush hour traffic. I ended up having to buy a petrol can and fuel just to get me about 800 yards.

The problems with immediate payment on items that are collection are that I get robbed of 3.4% by paypal and the buyer pays for the item, collects it, then claims they never got the item so get refunded. As I won't have a dispatch note or receipt from a courier I can't prove they got the item. This is why all my collection only items are cash on collection only
