I've found a company that does a lovely set of wheels that I've never seen on a mini. There the correct pcd and everything but they don't ship outside the contintal usa. Basically I'm looking someone who would send me the wheels and take a small fee for there time and trouble

They delivered my package to some InPost thing (after saying they would be at house for 1400 hrs and showed up at 10am leaving a You were Not In card!) - I was looking for a shop, turned out to be some random automated locker thingy you punch code into and a door pops opens with your package, no more people involved - Im obvioulsy getting old!!!

Mine surprised me. The engine hadn't been run for 10 years and had just been sitting about and was all very rusty. I just put the puller on, tightened the bolt with a breaker bar went to stand on the bar to get some leverage and before i had fully stood on the bar, it popped off. I think it's just luck of the draw

Got the same puller! Looking at the clutch, i doubt it had been changed in 26 years. thank got that jobs over and done with.

One of my screwdrivers did sacrifice itself while trying to remove mine, I must admit it was my favourite screwdriver too! (Old rusty one that does everything, chisel, paint stirrer, pry bar, you know the type I mean!)

Assuming you are on about LiPO of LiFe batteries. Did you leave them partly charged, about 40-50%? LiPO and LiFe batteries do not like being stored completely discharged or fully charged. It tends to cause them to fail. The other thing that most of the guys have found in my RC flying club is that the batteries on have about 1/3 of the life that is stated on them.

could be the batteries, I am assuming you mean NiMh packs. I have had this with 4 cells before in my old mardave, where an old pack would charge up (seemingly) OK but in truth one cell was bad and discharged very quickly dropping the voltage and causing a similar effect to yours.

If you are using NiMH/NiCD packs, make sure you don't have any LiPO safes turned on the ESC, as this will often cut power if the voltage drops too low (as would happen with a NiMH/NiCD pack with any considerable current being pulled...)

Went to view a house today where an old man had died and hadn't been found for 10 days. All his furniture and stuff was still in it. One packet of cheese slices and some Branston pickle in the fridge. Weird and really sad.

:'0( my uncle lay dead in house for 5 days and that still haunts me to this day so reading this just brought it all back. So sad dying alone and then no one finding you for few days :'0(

oh no bless you, I work in the oxygen department at hospital & majority of our patients are 70/80s, hate it when they say "oh you're the only person I get to speak to" makes me worry about every one of them being alone!
