Guessing it isn't really worth it then. Still these speedos are so accurate that it will say 150 when you are really doing way less :P

It is. I thought we were talking km/h :) The mph values are on the inside. So my clubman speedo goes up to 140km/h or 90mph

HOW DARE YOU!! :( I liked watching Star Wars when I was younger, but could never get 'into it'. for some reason. Funny really, I was obsessed with Halo on the XBOX, which is just Star Wars with a twist and different story line to be honest.

Do you have to take the brakes apart to get the disc shields off? Mine are rattling :(

-
RedRuby
Yes, you need to remove the pads and then the two bolts holding the caliper and shields to the hub. No need to drain system just hang the caliper up with a piece of wire to take strain off the flexi pipe.
Jan 30 2015 09:31 PM -
oscat
You could always just pull them off... Mine managed to fall off on their own accord!

if you use a pair of water pump pliers you can push the pads back just enough to remove the calliper without having to even remove the pads, disturbing the split pins that would then need to be replaced. just remer to pump the pedal a few times when everything is back together before you drive off though.

Ok so my car is having its loom done as we speak. I have had a message saying that the loom originally in had an immobiliser which my Mayfair shouldn't have. Then another stating they think it's a cooper that's had an engine change. I'm so confused :-/ how do I find out? Log book and mycarcheck both say Mayfair.

It could just be British Leylend build quality. They may have just run out of Mayfair wiring looms that day so stuck one in from a cooper.
My Dad's first mini van was wired up wrong from the factory and it had a saloon front grill fitted as someone had dented the metal panel underneath and was trying to cover the damage. His van was bought brand new from a dealership.
There should be a number on the front slam panel and under the weather strip on the scuttle. These s...

Its the right loom as rover did a cross over loom when going from carbs to spi , lots of sprite minis are the same i thinks 1992 to 1993 and should have the fan in the inner wing.
