I'd love to attend this event. Definitely on the bucket list as a Mini owner.

The M1 in Northamptonshire is so smart now it doesn't have a hard shoulder anymore. It felt dangerous at night with little traffic, must be horrible when it's busy! Cheap way of gaining an extra permanent lane though. There is the occasional refuge if you're lucky enough to break down in the right place.

I drove from J14 to J10 and back of the m1 for a show in the mini over the summer one Sunday. My option of the ‘smart’ motorways is. Using the hard shoulder as an extra lane to increase capacity, great. What’s not so great is using the hard shoulder/smart lane when allowed to do so, only to find 2 miles down the road it’s closed (you get fined for using it when closed). So you then have to either speed up/slow down and pull out into the ‘slow lane’, which I found stressful especially if…

someone on the right hand side was being a dick and deliberately either speed up/slowed down to make it difficult to do so. And then I’d find a mile or so further along the ‘smart’ lane open again. In the end Rather than having to keep puling over, speeding up/slowing down each time I just gave up and stuck to the traditional ‘slow lane’ and stick to a constant steady speed (which was better for my mpg) And I couldn’t give a monkeys if the left hand ‘smart’ lane was open and empty.

well I've got what i thought was a different subframe because the rear mounts don't fit, but everything else on the subframe is fitted with standard mini parts so other than the rear mounts everything else seems to fit.

It's 2019 and yet the concept of ebay still seams to elude some people. 3 more buyers this evening have been added to my block list after not paying.

I Ovid sellers/traders with 100% feedback but also a high percentage or revised feedback. Although I’m completely avoiding leaving feedback for a purchase of some door regulators that sold cheaply (£7.50 the pair) before Christmas. Nothing wrong with the item, or delivery (bit expensive at £14 but better than that and get crap MyHerpes) Other than the parcel, contents and all packing absolutely stunk of weed (wanted to throw up it was that bad). Not something you’d expect from a trader (minid...

Hate it when I know I've ordered and received some parts that I now can't find? I mean where do they go? Oh well, another £20 order going in for something I've already bought :(
