Thinking of selling the Bini. Great to drive, an absolute blast but it is so unreliable.

Yeah have been following it on here. Shame it's causing you so much hassle. So far mines needed thermostat and housing, rad, wishbone bushes, airbag resetting and an exhaust hanger. Only had the bloody thing a month! Lol on top of that lot, around £1200 on personal mods I wanted. Was only suppose to be a cheap bini while classic is having work done ha

She's alive ... the mini breathes again, although if she was a ship she would be at the bottom of the ocean the amount of water in her :(

How long after an mot can you tax your car with the new laws? Can you just take the certificate to the post office straight after?

-
OhDear
Last year the wife's car was taxed with in five minutes of leaving the mot station

Spent most of today enduring jokes about looking like the defendant and polishing turds as I was being fitted for a suit ready for my sister's wedding in March.

Spent this morning fitting newly painted Cooper replica wheels....only to find the dust seals on front upper arms and rear radius arms are perished! so the whole lot has to come off again to be replaced...grrrr :(

IainStallard
Front subframe snapped on the mini so now have no car once again. :(

Hit a pothole and snapped the front cross member straight down where the lower steady bolts to. I'm south of Guildford but have possibly found a replacement

Had the same on my Cooper.
Bit of alignment and welding fixed it

I've snapped one in the same place going over a pothole too, luckily second hand front subframes are quite cheap
