Pictures explain it better.. left hub with the tabs is a metro one, mini one on the right with no tabs. So you need to grind them down

Yes. As long as it's my garage. And if it is, what are you doing in there? :D

LOL. No, it's my garage. I'm looking for work at the moment and it's hard to find anything.

Question: will a rear roll cage with fixed diagonal fit in a passat estate?
Jan 09 2015 10:16 AM

Moggyton
Haha! Has anyone got the measurement for the widest part? From one foot to the other
Jan 09 2015 11:12 AM -
deanymini
If it fits in a mini, then I'd be mightily surprised if it doesn't fit in a Passat estate.

That was my thought, but it would have to go on its side i imagine

Massively emotional day today at work for my last day. Coming in to a desk full of balloons, congrats banners, desk decorations and the biggest bunch of flowers i have ever seen was enough to set me off already haha #suchawoman

Insurance decided to ask for my ncb proof 2 weeks after a policy was took out and now wont accept my ncb putting it up £800, brilliant

Because my 3 litre was taken under a classic policy and they won't accept no claims for that as any recognisable no claims bonus, going to argue the odds with them as a clerk has said they've entered into a contract so they either have to recognise it or cancel it and give me a full refund since it's their refusal
Jan 09 2015 12:18 PM -
The Matt
Yeah, Classic policies don't accrue NCB, but your insurer should have told you that at the time you took out the policy on the 3 litre whatever it was.
Jan 09 2015 02:34 PM -
Thorpsta
They didn't and when taking to quote out I even said it was earned on a classic and they didn't say anything, cancelling the policy loses me 400 quid and I refuse to pay 2100 for a 300 106, devil of the deep blue sea

Not a happy bunny today. Got into work to find someone has moved everything around on my desk, swapped my computer for a different one and then when I find my original machine (needed as its a specially built computer) it doesn't want to play ball.

That is annoying. Can't they use network licences? so then if you switch machines it is tied to an account rather than a particular machine.
Jan 08 2015 07:45 PM -
M J W J
Yes but my computer is the server unit for one particular bit of software as I am the only person who uses it. I can put the software on another computer and access the licence file from it but I still need my original machine connected to the network and in the correct place for it to work. A lot of hassle that was completely unnecessary.
Jan 08 2015 08:28 PM -
Vinay-RS
Yeah and unless the "new" computer significantly better than the old one there really is no point.
