£20 per hour? Bloody hell, that's cheap! I pay £60 p/h at a Mini specialist!

Sorry not been on, yeah £20/hr is awesome, he only does minis - he's a bodywork bloke really but sorts all my mechanical probs too as I tend to just turn up & he'll sort it there and then :)

I would rather go and eat the puddle of sick from outside of a Kebab shop than go back out shopping today AGAIN

Well next year, don't buy a single present and then on Christmas day, you can claim you had bought some but can't find them. Sorted

very interested in this, I have driven an aygo for 4 years now and am very impressed. shes not fast but the engine is peppy round corners and the electric steering is perfect. cheap and easy to work on too.

I've had my 107 for for 7 years. It's a superb engine, power to weight ratio in a mini would be excellent, definitely outweighing any negatives over the standard grunt. Parts are surplus, there are about 5 cars common on UK roads with that engine, and the cars are often written off in city dings. Cheap repairs, I did an engine swap in mine in a day. The biggest worry I have is getting the loom to work.

Got the train to work, go out for breakfast then get back on the train to go home! Slightly pointless?

Pointless but easy money ☺

Great! it was so nice to she her shine again. Its been needing a good polish for a few weeks now. But after cleaning up the bumpers i did spot a few patches of rust on them which i will need to treat.

A mini van for £200, not a chance in hell. Rotten shells are like a grand!

Cars down here are so much cheaper, but importing spares is where the costs lie. There is a 1970 van that was listed for R3500, which is 194 Pounds :)
