Ahhhh! Try one ... That's all we live on when we go camping now because we set fire to the rear blinds of the Bongo with the primus so nobody can be trusted to cook anything now.

I find taking it off with 80 grade sand paper means you cut it back quite quick

Think i just over did the filler and its quite thick and tacky.Maybe because its kept in outside garage perhaps.

I had to, completely the wrong time of year for painting and with the mini stuck outside I could do without an excuse for any rust to start.

I can't be the only person that forgets to breath when they're nervous/anxious/awaiting news, can i?! I literally sit and hold my breath without realising it until i feel slightly faint. Weird.

Is it not possible to store the mini in a garage and get a safer, newer car?
Nov 19 2014 12:41 PM -
firstmini
I feel terrible debating safety over keepin a car but no what u mean lyndsey as awesome car to have :) & I wish cud store it but don't have a garage & to get a new car right now would need money from mini... altho if don't get the right price then will never let her go!

Ball joint snapped on a roundabout outside of Guildford today, fortunately not too much damage, only a tyre and squashed front valance to repair, just pissed off from these stupid potholes.....

It's not so bad in a 'modern' car, but, in a Mini, you can shatter your teeth as well.

was it a genuine ball joint? just out of interest...
Nov 19 2014 05:14 AM -

Yup, genuine ball joint from minispares. I recon some non-genuine joints are as good as genuine, as long as they are best treated

Now I'm not a religious person by any means, but actually praying to God that the bag I gave the bin men on my way out this morning didn't have my IPad Air in it... Seems to have disappeared and a bag of rubbish I thought I gave them is still here...

We could move the mini as it is in a Luton Transit. We could get everything else in it too.
One trip, job done! BOOM

Thanks Ben :) This site looks amazing! I doubt i'll need to learn all these techniques but I think it should help me grasp the basics faster.

It is for the older photoshop but is the same principle on the later versions. Which version do you have? I am using CS6
Nov 18 2014 08:57 PM -
Vinay-RS
I am using my friends copy, which is CS5. Plus I wasn't planning on using photoshop initially. It just has so many more editing options that he suggested I give it a try.
