As above + worn rocker shaft

The noise isn't coming from the rocker shaft but when I depress it the noise stops, taking the rocker cover off doesn't alter the noise in the slightest, this I why I am thinking followers

Bob is very happy to be allowed on the road with no advisories and is very happy that the MOT man allowed me to adjust the carb for the emission test :-) <3

0.8A parasitic drain on my battery... nice job for tomorrow then. Out of interest, how long does the ecu etc stay on when the power I reconnected (ie how long until it goes into standby?)

What's an acceptable draw for an SPI?
Sep 25 2014 08:45 PM -

No idea, I could always check mine tomorrow but I've got a clock and radio memory as my draw so will be interesting to see what the drain is

Well I have a radio and the A Series alarm/immobiliser installed. Don't worry too much mate, I'll have a poke around with my multimeter tomorrow and see what I can find. It got too dark for me to do anything further tonight.

Drove a car with this "citysafe" fuction today. Could have quite easily nipped out and round the lorry blocking the roundabout but the car had other ideas and braked itself. Not sure whether I was impressed or annoyed with it. Too many stupid gadgets on cars these days.

We have a ds3 in the body shop with the auto braking thing and it now doesn't work because the car was rear ended
Sep 25 2014 03:34 PM -

I'm not surprised it was rear-ended. If anyone had been following me they would've probably shunted me. It was a real "slam on the brakes" thing. I didn't know what the hell was going on.

All the more reason to claim. If enough people do, they'll repair it properly. Seriously. Good chance they'll pay out.

Good news and bad news; good news is, the tyre still holds air, must have broken the bead and lost some air. Bad news, now I have nothing to claim -.-

Can a 12v fused relay be used without an inline fuse from a permanent live? Look tidier than inlines...
