Just as I think the mini has no problems, the headlight switch burns out driving back last night! Luckily I was back in town and didn't have far to go!

Thinking of swapping the Mini for a more original one in the not-too-distant future. But what's the biggest early 70s engine you can get without buying a Cooper S?

u could of course by an early 70s mini and fit a period 1275.

Tis true. I just quite liked the thought of it having an original engine. My current insurers are a bit picky (and clueless). Although I suppose a 998 can be made just as fast. Some thinking to be done :P
