Why don't insurance companies cotton on to the fact that, if you haven't claimed anything and haven't cost them any money, randomly putting up your insurance premium by £100 isn't going to keep you as a customer?

They try their luck. Had this with co-op last year. They put the premium up so i phoned them and told them i had lower quotes and they then beat the other quotes. You get people like my mum who receives a renewal that has gone up and she moans about it but still pays it. silly really

How many can you fit on the drive/garage/garden
Aug 01 2014 01:05 PM -

Not many, although I've done my best! Nicked half the garage and I have discusses whether it would be possible to take down a fence and put one in the back garden.....
Ahh now I see why my family say I have a problem :P

A problem? A hobby! Go for it - nothing wrong with collecting; stamps, books, records, drums, minis - it's all good! (note - I don't collect stamps, and I maintain that 2 minis is just a pair, and not a collection)

I have someone on ebay wanting to pay by Visa Electron and not by paypal or any of the other options listed on my advert. Should I be suspicious? The person asking has 0% feedback currently.

Good plan. It's the time wasters that cause all of the grief. They win the auction, make excuses for days and then pull out meaning that you could have sold to somewhere else. when i used to sell laptops on there, i only accepted immediate payment otherwise it would be offered to the next highest bidder, Its the only way to keep things running smoothly

Its a home made EGR blanking plate worth about £3, most of which will go towards the postage of it. About 75% of my feedback score is due to selling so its not the first time I have had problems with a buyer but this is the first time I have had them offer to pay via another means. I generally deal with second hand car parts. I tend to by a job lot of bits and then sell the rest on to cover the cost of the one piece I wanted out of it.

Went girlie shopping today. My friend spent £80 on a dress and make up. I spent about the same on AutoGlym. We both think the other's bonkers.
