it wont run with the twin carbs. gy needles fitted mixture set 16 flats/2.6 turns. 3 psi fuel pressure. It should run theoretically. :(

Perhaps the settings for your car are a bit different? Like maybe the mixture needs to be a bit richer?

i had a lada 2105, fitted a 1600 engine, cam with bits etc, it ran fine at first, but went onto 3, looked at everything, it had a single 45 with a rae sharret inlet, all looked ok, could i find out what? so i tookt he head off, put it back on, fitted twin 40s t hat i had , starndard dizzy, back to the golf one, differnt fuel, engien back out to rae, back in, all was ok, what was up?


6 months of proper upset, my heat shield under the 45 had loosened a bolt that held the chokes...

Just done the session, was a bit nervous being honest but was all good, mine came out at 112 but need to tweak the carbs as they are running rich and then can tweak the ignition mapping so there is power to be had there. Changed the emulsion tubes and it's running much better but still work to be done! My brothers was impressive, 136 bhp on a five port head 296 scatter cam whereas mine is a SW10 7 port. I revved mine to 7500, my bro was going up to 8500! I think I need to up my...

Mine was 90.29 ft.lbs and my brothers was 112.70. Mine definitely needs more work doing with the carbs but it's great being able to see what's going on and at what rpm.

looked on carol nash and they couldn't quote due to "specialist nature of your vehicle".
Rang up admiral and asked can i get it lower got £158.88 off total for both cars just by ringing up

I use HIC they're good and completely different attitude to the Adrian Flux team even though they're part of the same group but you need to ring them, don't use their webservice

I left them neutral feedback on a pair of front bumpstops I bought off them, and sent them a message to have a word with their quality control..... now they wont let me trade with them LOL

Pop your SIM into a friends compatible phone -hopefully you stored contacts on the SIM?
& your network provider MIGHT be able to retrieve the rest of the stuff if you ask VERY nicely.

Plug it into Your Computer and you can access all your pictures/videos, I've done it before.
As itsaminithing mentioned contacts should be hopefully be saved to sim so popping it into another device should work.

All contacts was saved to the phone and not the SIM, which I thought they would be...

Iv plugged my phone into my PC and it cannot access the phone as its locked and theres no way of unlocking it...

I have even tried to put the phone into safety mode by pressing a combination of keys, but that has also failed...

I'll get a new LCD digitizer for it and hope for the best once its installed onto the phone...

Lots of the Minis (and classics in general) that come into our workshop have modifications and parts from all years on them. I think the only time it is a little bit naughty is when it is obvious that the car has been dressed up to make it appear like a different model for sale purposes. That said, even then i suppose a quick check would show the cars real ID :)
