Anyone with a childish mind should search "Toyota tacoma water pump gasket" in google images. There are a few types but you'll get the joke when you see it.

Just paid £2k for a family holiday in Spain!! I could have bought some goodies from Minispares for that :(

I feel your pain W.O.E. - I am in the same boat with the wife looking for holidays, it seems she is fed up of hearing me say - 'I could get another Mini for that!!'. I mean, what do you have to show for it when you get home? Tan (sunburn in my case) for a week or so and a Visa bill to pay off :-(

"What do you have to show for it when you get home" I've had that thought many a time when booking holidays....Women don't like that phrase much though....

That is a job mine needs as im sure one day in the near future im going to turn the handle and nothing will happen. so my partner goes to me, why dont you add up your reciepts for your mini then (as some how we got to subject) and in my head im thinking well for 1; its painful enough knowing what buy each time isnt cheap 2; if she found out I spend more on mini than her she would be "slightly" upset and 3; what hell do I respond with as she is still looking at me as we drive along lol.... awkward.....

Do I wait for a few years for my mini or get one now? If I wait I will be driving my mums car - which will hopefully by then be a 63 plate new mini

-
miniman24
Traveling for the right car isnt too much of an issue - mine was 200 miles away, £30 odd on the train later I was there - if the right one comes up its worth the train ticket to see it!
Feb 16 2014 03:28 PM -
lukepilot
True! I never thought of the train, might be cheaper than driving

Definitely look for cars further away. You are really limiting what you find if you can't travel. It is very easy to jump on a train, if you do your homework before you leave, you could drive it away the same day to save on travelling costs too :)

He has just torn his own face off D: the wheel hit the arch, the plastic outer arch ripped off, the wing / metal arch has all buckled up into the wheel, its twisted the front around, all the paint is flaking off....... WHY BOB WHY!! I havnt the money to fix him this time and im no good at body repairs, im way too ocd. I could cry. in disbelief.

:/ taken a better look at it today, ive managed to get two of the bolts back onto the s-p arch. as the garage would only pull on it I thort id give it a go on the wing, managed to pull it off of the wheel a bit and back into rough shape, cleaned and touched up some of the chipped off and flaked off paint, going to cote the bigger sections in WD40 so I can use it without it rusting on the drive out ive organised on Sunday, it should be okay to drive, just take it carefully. doesn't look to...
