On them templates where you make your own, theres a 3 clock one and a 2 clock one.
Is the 3 clock one for the cooper?

no, the 3rd clock is a spedo, depends what model mini u get city,cooper,mayfair etc etc on weather u have one or not, for instance the g reg city doesnt have a tacho and my mayfair does, thats a g reg, and the mini 35 doesnt have one.

He means the third clock is a tacho, most cars come with a speedo as standard! 
It's not just for Coopers (they're basically no different to other Mini's anyway), it's for any car with three clocks or indeed a car with two clocks if you wish to add a tacho as well.
