ive just replaced the wiper park swich as the old one wasnt working.now when i put me lights on the wipers come on.....any ideas

Are you sure you wired it back up correctly?

i did do it the way it came off ...but will check again tomorow

yeah you may have wired it up wrong put the wipers on and if the light come on you have wired it up wrong

i no when i turn the wipers on the lights come on aswell and visa versa..ill start by checking the wires again

todays update...the wires all where they should be...wipers are not parking..turn lights on wipers come on....but when i put the wipers on the lights arnt coming on

It's a bad earth somewhere - probably on the lights at the front behind the grille.

forgot to say it wasnt doing this before i put the new park swich on

Faulty new park switch? Or perhaps the multi-plug needs replacing too? Minis Spares supply a replacement, plus a part of the loom too.

As for the wires up front: -

Wiring connections at the front of the car behind the grille: -

Earth is the Black wires
Sidelights are Red/Red with Green
Headlights are thick Blue with Red
Main Beam thick Blue with White

right ive orderd another swich and plug and ill start from there and see what happens

right update..ive replaced the park switch and multiplug.....the wipers have stoped coming on when the lights are turned on ...but the wipers will now only park when i have the lights on.....helllllllllllllllllp

and ive also looked at the earth's on the lights they look ok
