I had no end of trouble with arches and it took me 3 sets to find a set that fitted properly. You may only be 15 but its worth saving the money up for either a decent set of well known arches or some genuine s/p arches.
I've heard bad stories about the copy s/p arches, make it easy for yourself and go genny.

I paid £50 for some from huddersfeild, after spraying them we fitted them didn't have any trouble really!
Those ones look better than mine because they have a big lip on the inside to stop dirt getting trapped up there. But i think that'll make it harder to get the bolts in.

I did the wise thing. Checked out his feedback, found some for his Mini Wheel arches, and contacted them.
They responded with..
"Hi, i have bought a number of sports pack arches of ebay ranging from rubber ones to fiberglass ones thats so thin they would break and i have sent them all back. but the ones i bought from "nuneatonglassfibre" are exellent quality, very sterdy and are bassicaly ready for painting without doing any filling. i wont be putting them on my car for about a month or so unless i would show you some pictures of them on the car. next time they have these arches on ebay i would grab them quick as you wont find any better ones else were for this kind of money. Cheers"
Looks promising, might buy myself some of these!

I would be wary of drilling my own holes then filling them with body filler?
Is this really the done thing?
:fear:

Don't buy the ones you have to drill your own holes and fill, what a nightmare it can only end in tears surely, unless your a pro of course. i got some sports pack arches from Mini sport, they are copies but have the thread set into the arch, just drill the holes and fire them on the car. i think they were about £70 or so... and they come with the finishing rubber bits too.

LOL just re-read the auction, what he was explaining about the filler was if you wanted to blend/smooth them in! They do sound pretty good top be honest, and if another buyer has given them a good review then they must be. They look like they fix on the same way as mine, drill holes in bodywork, be careful of fuel tank!!! And fix on, i used self teppers on the back and nuts'n'bolts on the front. When you do get some just make sure that you don't fit the back ones up too high or the front ones too low! Just got new tyres ant they're rubbing on the front at full lock! GGGRRRRRR
