I've never tried it, but what about this?

I wonder if it really works?

Well, if its a creased dent, meaning theres a line in it, it will be harder to remove, but if its just dipped you can use them suction pads, or even hammer it out, but on my roof, as it was only small i just filled it , it saves taking the headlining out.

I am going to have a go at this technique as my roof is going to get stripped back anyway so no worries if it damages paint or anything. I will take a heap of pics too and post them if it works... hopefully i have just lost about 100+ hours of bogging time WOO HOO.
I also have a dint with a crease in it that I can't get out anymore... not that i think it will do anything to this dint but no harm trying.

That method wouldn't work if it's at all creased or the metal is seriously stretched. The way that method works is the heat expands the metal and then the cold shrinks it very quickly, so the dent pops out, would only work on a shallow non creased dent.
