Are you missing anything?
I'm not sure but i dont think there is a great deal you can do about it other than being more careful.

Symptoms of drink spiking can include:
* Unexplained, sudden tiredness
* Disorientation
* Sickness
* Dizziness
* Short-term memory loss and blackouts
Symptoms can last for up to eight hours and usually take effect around 30 minutes after a spiked drink is consumed. In many ways someone who has had their drink spiked may act like they are very drunk.

Does your bum hurt and are there vaselene stains in your pants?
It always makes me laugh when some drunken *woman of ill repute* is lying paralytic in the gutter with puke in her hair, while her mates stand around f`ing and blinding about how her 14th bacardi breezer must have been spiked.

My little sister thought her drink had been spiked before, but it was just too much drink!
She doesnt know her limits yet only being 17

And one of my mates thought his drink was spiked before, but what actually happened was that he drank a bottle of wine at the chinese then later on fell over on the cobles and knocked himself out, got taken away in an ambulance, got bored waiting in the hospital and left thenm fell aslepp under a parked car. e then called me in the morning saying he'd been kidnapped and was IN the car he was under

Spiking is certainly possible, but more likely just a reaction to something you ate or a general stomach bug.

PMSL !!! Well said
Yeah... hilarious way to look at a very real situation that effects men, women and children all over the world every single day.
Grow up. Rape is not a joking matter.
Keep an eye on your drinks at all times, never leave them unattended or put them down, and most importantly, don't accept a drink from a stranger, even if they do seem pretty cute!
The immaturity being displayed in this thread is beyond astounding...........

Who said anything about Rape?
The implication of Vaseline stains in the pants and a 'sore bum', when talking about a guy who thinks his drink was spiked and was confused about where he was, is enough to assume that people were making a 'joke' about date rape.
Or were you laughing at something else? I personally can't see anything funny about possibly being spiked and losing memories from a night out, even getting food poisoning is hardly amusing is it?
