Please help!
My wifes insurance company is being stoopid saying they require the bhp for the mini before they will insure it (changepver), does anyone have any idea what the bhp is on a 1380 engine, also a 1275, and a 1000.

TECHNICALLY if you do engine mods you are meant to have them done properly and the engine set up so you'd know the bhp 
But obviously not many people do, especially not for minor mods...
But saying that I think mine (998) was 37bhp at the wheels standard, and with stage 1 has 43bhp (which is high apparently)

A 1380 could be anywhere between 65bhp and 130bhp!

from my dads mini book it says
1000 - 36bhp
1275 - 57bhp
1000 - 36bhp
1275 - 57bhp

Prozactly!! Thats what I told them, dohnuts. Thanks for replies, I told them it was 79bhp for 1380.
Never been asked that before though.
