glad this one got dragged up - that really is something else! would mean not stealing the wifes car for goign to gigs/rehersals....but BIVA and cost would mean I'd be better off getting a mini van......

ABMC - really doing something different though, well done lads.

im seriously going to have one of these minis at some stage,

i have a few questions about it.

if i was to want the rear end conversion only. (rear doors, folding seat, and petrol tank relocation) plus anything else thaet comes with it, in terms of reinforcment. what would you require?

would it simply be a case of drive up in a solid mini, leave it there and write a cheque?

what i would be planning on doing is to have a taxed and tested mini, strip it to the minimum and get on the euro tunnel with someone following me to bring me home. leave it there a few weeks then bring it back. do you think this would be viable?

it probably wont be for a fair few years till i have this done, but wouldnt need a perfect car as i can do the rest of the work regarding spraying and fitting an interior myself. its just the hard bit id want done.

May aswell take it on a trailor and have a holiday whilst its being done. You would need BIVA test once back in UK due to the radically altered monocoque.

I guess if anything was to happen driving it back through France would be a bit dodgey too, If I crashed it there my insurance would no doubt be void.

It would be cool to drive it in, have a holiday then drive it home though
