Right after fitting the grill and such type brightwork on my minus last weekend the bonnet chrome strip that came with the grill doesn't fit the bonnet!! So at present it's got the one that was on the bonnet when I got the car. It's not in the best condistion and looks out of place with the other new chrome!! (see pic)

Does anyone know what type of strip I would need to buy to fit? Is there such thing as a MK II?? :nugget:

does it have to be moded to be fitted to a minus

Nah, I doubt theres much point in changing the bonnet strip, I'd just sell the car....

The one thats on there doesn't look like its been modded at all. The newer one I bought is too straight.... ie if you fit the middle screw both ends are about an inch away from the bonnet! :nugget: And no it doesn't bend with brute force either..... :fear:
