I got some good soundproofing material for my flat from http://soundproofingforum.co.uk/.
I think they do stuff suitable for cars as well.

If you want good sound deadening bitumen based stuff is better than rubberised. Don't know if you made the SMD last year and saw the the blue clubman estate sound off car? His roof was like hitting concrete! The product he used was a 4mm bitumen based sound deadening but there is also a 2.5mm one, there's no point using 1mm thigkness as you have to double it up to be effective which doubles the price. I've just bought some that will be going in soon and it looks top quality stuff with a self adhesive backing and everything.

If you want some good stuff at a good price(around £30 for 1m x 1m x 4mm) email Darren (Loudboy) from the Talk Audio Forum.

Hope this helps.

I've bought that stuff from minisport now so we'll see how it goes. Let me know if your is any good as there is no harm in putting more soundproofing in i guess :)

As already mentioned, the stuff Loudboy on talkaudio forum is apparently very good.

Also look at silent coat bulk pack on car audio direct. This is what i am using, very easy to work with and has made my roof rather solid!

cheers

Golly-gosh has Silent coat fitted and am very pleased how easy it was to work with. Cant wait until golly-gosh is running and back on the road, then I'll know how good it is.
