Me and my mate made me one...
Bought some MDF from B&Q for £5, and some faux black suede for £3.50.
Got the measurements for it off the FAQ on here, and cut all the holes out for the clocks etc for where I wanted them.
Hardest part was getting the curve at the top right, and after fiddling about we got it spot on. :D

Still got one cutout for a template for others... :D

its a no go im afraid . the bloke said he hasn't got the measurements for a mini dash with just the bottom part (where the dash fits) padded.
hes only got the measurements for a mini with padded top and bottom dash rails. :-

anyone got any more ideas.
i would make one but in very short on time. i work full time and every bit of spare time i get is refurbing my alloys and getting the car ready for paint.

anyone fancy making one for me?.

cheers

YOU make the cheapest dash.
Ten quid for materials and half a gallon of elbow grease.
Unique and fabulous.

Measure your own car (they're all different).
Make a cardboard version first, (or more like ten versions) get that right then cut the material you want.
VERY satisfying to make your own good dashboard.

Include a "start" button, include a 12v outlet (fag lighter), put your knobs and switches
just and exactly where you want them...

Easier then you think once you get going.

Best wishes
Monty

Here are the rough plans. As MiniMonty said you can make it completely how you want, to your specifcation..

Hope the link (in the link) works ok.
