[MINI7]

Hey, I was just thinking something should be done to raise some money for the victim support of the london bombimgs. I would love to do J'Ogroats to lands end if morris minors can do it in 14 hours then im sure minis could do it alot faster.
Any other ideas????

I think that's a fantastic idea.

Not sure if i'd want to do 14 hours solid driving though!

Did the minors do it in one go?

Would you not be breaking the law.

It states that you must have a break after (is it seven hours?) of driving. Dont get me wrong, i think its a great idea for fundraising, but at the same time in doing this you are putting yourself and others lives at risk driving non stop.

How about if we do it over a weekend? We could take breaks at mini-shops all down the country? :erm:

I like your thinking Pooky!! The minors did do it in one day but i think stopping at mini shops is a great idea, if we left scotland early one morning we could stop at mini sport that night then mini spares the following night, if we did it for fundraising im sure theres an awful lot more we could get involved in, maybe finish at a race meeting, We should definetly do something. I know a guy who films stuff for extreme tv so we could make a good film about it. Another thought we could have little rendevous with mini clubs all the way down!!!!!

it sounds like a great idea but like pooky said it sounds like a lot of organising!

plus would people do it as it is a long drive! would it be a good idea to av a mini show or a mini camp with a mini drive around da area inwhich they camped instead thats only if people dont fancy driving all that way! its only an idea!

but dont get me wrong i do love ur idea its just da driving!
