hey all.

when i finished modyfying my mini i rung up the insurance and told them what id done. 1.5 roller tips new head with bigger valves and twin SU HS4s. they didnt seam interested in the size of the valves on the head.

is this right as ive just read the paperwork theyve sent me and it just says roller rockers, twin carbs, and new cylinder head under the modifications bit. just wundering as i dont fancy getting in trouble if i have a bump or anything. i also told them the horse power but thats not on the paper work.

chers, phil

Maybe you should get them out to do an agreed valuation and tell them then? Never done this my self but heard about people doing it.

Good luck

All they'll need is engine size and modifications...

They will know which ones increase power to the engine...

The ones that don't, tend to not affect the price of the insurance but it all depends who you go with.

Try putting a flip front on the insurance lol... you can't.. it has to go under as something else.. I've just declared mine as a bodykit.
