can someone link me to the manifold or manifolds that will work with twin HIF 4's?
Thanks

they will be very small
a HIF 38 is a 1 1/2 and a HIF 44 is a 1 3/4 (i think) so what size a HIF4 is i have no idea

There are old ones on ebay but you have to be careful - these may not have enough of an angle for the bottom of the jets on the carbs to clear the bulkhead

I'm confused by them, they've got integrated float bowls, as I'd expect to see on HIF44's, but at the same time they've only got a two bolt flange to the manifold, unless this is a modification.
You can check the size by measuring across the two carburettor throats you can see in this picture, HIF44 is 44mm, HIF38 is 38mm, and so on.
HS2 is 1.25"
HIF38 / HS4 are the same size, 1.5" / 38mm
HIF44 / HS6 are the same size, 1.75" / 44mm

HIF - Horizontal Integrated Float
4 is the size in 1/8's above 1 inch, therefore 1.4/8 ( or 1.5" ), ie Pre Metric
They are distinguishable from HIF38's in that they have the same mount as the HS4, but will fit onto the same manifold as both the HIF38 and the HS4.
Edit:
Soucre vehicle is likely to be an MGB

These carbs:

Thats why those are HIF4!

HIF4 = 1.5" w. HS4 flange, HIF38 = 38mm w. 4 stud flange.
According to the flange-pattern, you'r after an twin HS4 manifold.

[edit] Whoops, Mr. Guessworks was faster...

Everyone thanks for your help. I am going to get these this week. Will be looking for a Manifold now so if anyone has a twin Hs4 Manifold i may be interested.

Another carb type, hadn't realised there was an inbetweeny one.
Thanks!
