Has anyone had any experience with using Octane booster in their mini?? Mines a 1293cc Carb with highlift fast road cam.

Wondering if its worth it...and if it blows up engines!! The lucas one seems the best from what ive seen

It doesnt blow up engines.
Dont bother with it, just use Super unleaded or Optimax. Fifth Gear did a test on all the common (so called) booters and the results showed they did not boost the octane, some actually lowered it.
Ive tried a few different ones and they didnt make any difference at all to my motor.

I jut used the castrol lead additive with the booster. I can't tell any difference...

However, if your head is not converted to run unleaded, don't forget to run an additive for that !

Personally, I'd recommend the Castrol Valvemaster product range.

I second that - additives are pointless. No gains to be had
