Does anyone know how many different types of steering lock/ignition switches there are and what years they are from? my car is a 73 mk3 and i can onlt seem to find Steering Locks/ignition switches from 1976 to 1996?

Thanks in advance!

They changed in 76 when they got a column stalk wiper switch. The ignition switch should still fit but might need the connectors changing.

There are two types of earlier switch/lock assembly pre 1976 - see the different types here. For a '73, the part number above should be the correct one.
