hi im about to strip my engine and want all parts sparkling what is the best thing that will clean parts of my engine i have a fish tank i can use to soak parts in but what liquid do i use to soak them in
by the way the fish are out of the tank lol

Oli based solvent (paraffin etc.) and stiff brush and/or scraper/screwdriver to get the worst of the muck off.

I then use Brake Cleaner in a hand held pressurized garden sprayer to rinse them off - gets them squeaky clean. You can buy brake cleaner in 5L tins from a motor factor.

find a local engine builders, take your bits to them and see how much they would want to throw them into their cleaner.

cellulose is the muts nuts and cleaning engine parts... that and stiff brush.. = sparkling!

remember the oilways will need clearing out...
