- For me with him as named driver = £675 (Quinn or Admiral)
- For him with me as named driver = £1,450 (Quinn)
Do you think I can get better than this? (PS - I'm 50 with max NCB but 1 x SP30)

Both are fantastic quotes, but from experience, check your voluntary excess (take it off), and put him as main driver if you can afford it, much better in the long run.

Group 1 usually.
his post says a 98MPI, aint they 1275? so a MPI would be group 3 probably maybe higher as its basicaly a 1.3
to be honest first quote is going to be expensive, my 205 1.1 when i was 17 (4 years ago now) was £1600. its cheaper to have a woman on as a named driver too, i put my mum on each year and it drops a good couple of hundred. but remeber, most places dont do named driver bonus so when he goes to get his own policy, if you set him as a named driver, he will start from scratch at a stupid price again. also setuing him as the named driver had legal implications too if he has a crash and hes normaly the only one who drives the car.
to be honest quote wise if you can get below 1000 youll be lauthing but dont set your hopes too high for a cheap quote.
