when i turn left i get a grinding noise coming from the driveres side front wheel. It makes exactly the same kinda sound u get when your pads have worn out. but cant think why it is making the noise when i turn. i had a wheel baring on that side a few weeks ago.. ive had no other work done. any ideas?

Check the tyre isn't rubbing. Wheel bearing would be favourite, if it's a bit loose the disc can rub try braking lightly while it's making the noise.

I had a similar thing i had my bearings changed and this grinding noise appeared, turned out the garage hadn't put my castle nut on tight and the bearings where grinding and slipping. tightened it and no more noises

Check to see if the tyre is rubbing the arch at all, also check for stones in the back plates for the discs.

Paul.
