How Do All?

I know you can get the Terbocharged A series engines, but can you Supercharge it?

If so has anyone ever seen a Supercharged mini? Where can I find out more??

Cheers,
Jamie

Or one of the many, more efficient units which have actually been designed for the A series itself.

Mr Muir,

Are you at the University of Hertfordshire now?

I did Aerospace Engineering there and knew guys on the UH Race team.

Yeah I'm going to the University of Hertfordshire now. I start my second year in September. I'm studying BSc Motorsport Technology. I'm in the formula student team currently.

Avoid the older 'oil bath' types. They will cost two grand and are antiquated.
Go BMW route, it'll save you a couple of grand.
I bought a Bini super charger for under £500, but, believe it or not there are 5 different versions. Only 2 have good enough coatings on the blades. I will find you the part number, I've got rid of all my charger info tho. But here's some good reading

You do not need a super charger to be designed to suit. Even aston martin use a generic charger.

I don't really think that any units were designed specifically for an A-series, this perhaps is a common mis-conception.

A shorrocks cb75 is a well evolved golden oldie. The site will tell you everything you need to know to fit to a mini. From part numbers to SU and distributer settings.

This is my preffered route but costly.
