I can never see where I'm going :strongsad:

I took my heater out yesterday and cleaned the matrix throught. The demister pipes from the heater blow well, but for some reason by the time it filters up to the windscreen its really weak and useless :genius: I cant work out why. Have to hang my head out the window most of the time.

Any ideas?

Thankies :-

Air escapes out the pipes. They're rubbish. Keith Calver wrote an article on this a few years ago. You have to look at the whole system and see how you can stop air escaping and seal off gaps. If you take the plastic structures out and seal along the gaps with sealant this will help, also seal where they join on to the windscreen, and use you imagination where they join the heater. Basically 'fine tune' it, a worthwhile 'mod'!!
