Im Ollie Dyer and I am from Chichester, West Sussex.
Ive owned my Mini Sprite for a year now. I intend to try and organise a Mini Run from Goodwood, Chichester (venue of Festival of Speed and Revival) to Monte Carlo, Monaco.
I work at Goodwood house and have seen other such enthusiast organisations such as Autin Healey and Mercedes at my work and thought I would be able to organise a mini event quite easily.
I am gathering interest so we can eventually make this happen. If I get interest I will try and get some media coverage like a video diary for example. Ive already contacted the BBC. They believe that there is potential for this to happen if people are interested.

Hi Ollie

I live in Chichester also and think this is a great idea. Not only from the point of view of it being close but it is a track steeped in history just like our cars.

I may have to pick your brains about minis as mine needs some attention and I have a box of bits and not the faintest clue where half of it goes (problem with buying projects)

So Count me in but dont do it til late spring or mine wont be finished.

I am hoping to do it summer 09. Depending on interest.
It will cost you petrol. and accomodation on stop offs on the way which will be cheap.
If we have enough people we may even have a big dinner at Goodwood House to start it and official start.
It wont be expensive.
Once we have more interest it will become clearer

Anyone got a ballpark figure of how long the trip would take?

Possibly thinking it will take a week. I'm penciling in the dates around the 24-31 of july. (when its the London to Brighton run and the BH2N) I dont want them to clash.
