hey thought i'd replace my fuel filter is it ont the rear subframe i've got a 1996 1275 spriite and how do u actually fit it???

Its located on the rear subframe, and its only a few spanners of the correct size to change it, but libberal dowsing in WD40 of the unions a few days before hand should help. Care should be taken to ensure there is no residual pressure in the system. Remove the connector for the fuel pump at the tank and then turn over the engine to release any residual pressure. Then take care when removing the filter as there wil be a fair amount of fuel
