If my sisters Equinox is not started for any longer than a week the battery is too weak to start the car.
I've tested the battery and it's in top condition.
Is this usual for injection minis or is this particularly bad?
As the car isn't being driven at the moment, I've taken the battery out. But it's annoying having to lug a battery into/out of the mini when I just want to take it for an odd run.

If the car is parked up in a garage or something i would leave the battery in the car on a trickle charge, it may well be that your not driving/running the car long enough when you do use the car to top the charge back up from starting.

Once a battery has gone completely dead a few times it's pretty much fit for the bin, or so I have been told.

I think I'd like to test if the car is drawing too much current when it's switched off.
I'm assuming I'd put a multimeter across the battery terminals (forgive me, I know virtually nothing when it comes to electrics). What would I be looking to see on the multimeter? I.e. Normal reading for an injection mini...and what would be a high reading etc?
