Wouldn't it be worse to chop about a round nose estate they're a lot rarer? Suppose some clubby bits will be up for grabs if someone wants to convert a round nose saloon or van to restore the balance of the universe.

Will people stop moaning? It's his car and I doubt he appreciates people trying to talk him out of doing what he wants. I appreciate how rare Clubman Estates are (I own one myself) and I'm a purist but I don't think it's right to complain about what others want to do to their car.

Anyway, what do you plan to do with the Clubman front now? And I notice the side repeaters, they must have been aftermarket?

Good luck with the project, it sounds like a nice idea.

The current wood trim on the side of your estate I wouldn't expect you'd be using if you're making a woody round nose. Can I suggest you offer those bits and anything else that you're not keeping for your project to members of the Mini Clubman Estate Register.
