have you strenghten the middle bearing? the rods sound great as the crank, I would fit a 1275 head that will make a bit and dump the dizzy and get a megajolt. maybe dry deck the head/block.

im using a aldon red dizzy at the moment the center bearing is standard but i my change that before it goes bangmore cc I have a imp pistoned 1100 block at minispeed which i will be doing a thread on when i get it here in December.

me to! a Berner mini club member reckons he has had 69 hp out of an 1100 and thats with a speedwell ally head, never mind maybe with time he will be able to do better!!Looking forward to seeing what comes of this. Been wondering what the 1100 is capable of.
I would like to see at least 80hp
The aldon is good the megajolt better you have better control over your ignition timing when its important.
you must do the main bearing that is mega important on that engine,

ye ive also been told the big ends are also an issue i might use ARP rod bolts and i will be looking into some sort of ecu in the future when i supercharge it and hopefuly i will see 100+hp i already have alot of torqe steer i cant wait to get it back out on the roadme to! a Berner mini club member reckons he has had 69 hp out of an 1100 and thats with a speedwell ally head, never mind maybe with time he will be able to do better!!Looking forward to seeing what comes of this. here is that big bore 1100 I was taking about 68mm bores.
