basically my goal is to get as much power out of my 1100 special every one i know thinks that engine size is the key to power but i want my mini to be diffrent i already have a tuned 1275 mini but the 1100 is still faster both minis will be going to Harris Motorsport for a rolling road setup when they are finished and then i might supercharge the special the 1100 has been rebored +40 to 1133cc it has a weber 28/36 down draught carb stage4 head AE pistons on stress polished lightened and balancd rods a wedged balanced crank and a ultrilight flywheel with a grey race clutch i dicided on a piper 270 cam and vernier pulleys and i used a metro turbo box with a 2.9 competion diff + lots of other bits im interested in hearing other peoples veiws on this project and if anyone has any ideas how i could get a bit more power let me know

more cc I have a imp pistoned 1100 block at minispeed which i will be doing a thread on when i get it here in December.
have you strenghten the middle bearing? the rods sound great as the crank, I would fit a 1275 head that will make a bit and dump the dizzy and get a megajolt. maybe dry deck the head/block.

Looking forward to seeing what comes of this. Been wondering what the 1100 is capable of.

me to! a Berner mini club member reckons he has had 69 hp out of an 1100 and thats with a speedwell ally head, never mind maybe with time he will be able to do better!!
I would like to see at least 80hp
The aldon is good the megajolt better you have better control over your ignition timing when its important.
you must do the main bearing that is mega important on that engine,
