hi guys, my Mrs banged her tigra the other night so at the min im in the process of respraying her front o/s wing, its in primer at the min, do i sand it (with a 1200 rpm polisher, using G3 compound) after the lacquer has been applied? or before. thanks

If its a metallic basecoat, prep the primer with 800 wet.
Apply your basecoat over the primered area till its covered, then blow it out lightly if you need too.
Dont touch the basecoat.. after it has gone off (minutes), apply your laquer.
Once your all laquered up, leave it till you can push on it with your nail without marking it (probably a couple days if your doing it with an aerosol)
Then wet flat with 1200/1500 wet.
The polish with G3 on a polisher (1000-3000rpm)
Finish with a wax and normal polish.
Probably easier, quicker and cheaper in the long run to send it to a bodyshop if its not too damaged!
