People need to stop thinking that an A series is special. It is the same as every other 4 stroke engine. By this I mean the basic principles of supercharging and turbocharging are the same.

What you have to consider, is why are you thinking of supercharging AND turbocharging? It certinally won't make any more maximum power than just a turbo.

Alright, alright, calm down, calm down, I was only day dreaming the other day, and wondered it it could be done, I'm not going to do it as I don't have the money to, can't a guy dream these days?

what you calming him down for?? i see nothing "threatening" about it....hes mearly pointing out a fact...ok the crank may only have 3 support bearings but thats not going to effect the compression side of things or the valve side of things which is the main points i think your considering no?

Think I read somewhere that someone might have tried it

The A Series is a good candidate for forced induction as the one thing it doesn't do too well is breath.

What I was intimating was that if it's been done on any car then it's possible on a mini.

The biggest problem as I see it is packaging. It hard enough getting a turbo OR a supercharger in, never mind both.
