So the mini is up for sale due to having to do motorway miles next year.......

I am torn between a Lexus IS 200 and a Seat Leon 1.9tdi

The Leon has far better fuel consumption, being a diesel! (55mpg combined) and the lexus only does 30mpg

My head says the leon is the better choice......cheaper tax, insurance, fuel, running costs, but my heart says lexus....it is better looking and 'classier' and to be honest I prefer it

What do you guys (and gals!) think?

The lexus is a far nicer car

But hey - would you trust the advice of someone who sold a Audi A2 1.4 tdi to buy a mini with a vtec engine in it

hmmmmmmmmmmm........those parkers guides seem to have swayed me more towards the lexus!! it is a far nicer car for the same sort of money! and the only slight downside is its a bit less fuel economic!!

Lexus IS200s are so nice! I'd rather have one of them out of the two.
Always thought they'd look better without the brake(?) lights on the bootlid though...

go lexus use to repair one for a customer had 120k miles on the clock and i drove like it just came from the factory, they go darn quick very cumfy and they go on for ever
